AppSnapify has two parts. The free ripper keeps nothing: it parses a listing on request and streams the result straight to you. The tracker requires an account and stores the listings you choose to monitor and their change history, so we can show you a timeline and send alerts. We do not sell any of it.
To use the tracker you create an account with an email address and a password. We store your email and a securely hashed version of your password. We never store the password itself. We use your email to sign you in and, if you enable email alerts, to send you change notifications.
For each app you track we store the listing URL, snapshots of its public creative and metadata over time, and the differences we detect between snapshots. This is what makes the change timeline possible. All of it comes from public store pages. You can stop tracking an app at any time, which deletes its stored history.
If you configure a Slack or webhook destination for alerts, we store that URL so we can deliver notifications to it. Preview thumbnails are loaded by your browser directly from Apple's and Google's servers, not from us, so those requests fall under their privacy policies rather than this one.
Using the ripper without an account stores nothing about you. The listing is parsed on request, the download is built in memory and streamed to you, and the parsed details are held only briefly to avoid re-fetching the same page, then discarded.
When you log in we set a single, signed session cookie so the site knows you are authenticated. It is essential to the service and carries no advertising or cross-site tracking. We do not run third-party advertising.
Like essentially every web server, ours records standard request logs, including IP address, timestamp, requested path, and user agent, for security, abuse prevention, and debugging. These are not used to profile you and are not sold or shared.
If analytics are enabled on this site, they are used only to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are read and roughly how many people use the tool. They are not used to identify individuals.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your account data at any time. Deleting your account removes your tracked apps and their history. If you are in the UK or EU, you have the rights granted by UK GDPR and the GDPR, and you can contact us to exercise them.
This is a professional tool and is not directed at children.
